Google officially discontinued the Picasa software in April of 2016. Google Photos is the recommended solution for your lifetime of photos uploaded to the cloud, but if you still have it Picasa will still work (on Windows) for working with the pictures on your computer. You can organize, edit, and make collages. We taught Picasa from 2005 until it’s demise in 2016. If you still want to learn something about it, you’ll find all our videos below. Just realize that you cannot use Picasa to interact with the cloud – you cannot upload pictures or use email from within Picasa. And, on a Mac, the software will not even open. You can find info on downloading the Picasa installation files from Picasa Resources, or, here is our Picasa Download for Members.
Free Videos: The 5 tutorial videos listed below are free for anyone to watch. To view the rest, we have 96 total, you need to be a member. You can join here.

From the Camera, to your computer, to the Web – Picasa handles it all. It’s *fast*, it’s *easy*, and it’s *free* from Google. Free Google Webinar: In November 2009, Google’s Picasa group asked Geeks on Tour to co-host a beginning level Webinar on using Picasa. It was recorded and you can see it here.
Then, below, are a list of *all* our Picasa Lessons. You will need a Geeks on Tour membership to watch them. Click on any video listed below to watch it, then click your back button to return to this page. You will need a good, fast Internet connection in order to view these properly. If you don’t have that you can order the complete Learning Library on USB drive. You can also download our Seminar Handout.
