The easiest way to get photos from Dropbox to Google is to keep the Dropbox account – at least until they’ve successfully transferred.
Can you find the Dropbox folder on your computer? And, are the pictures there? If so, you upload those photos from your computer to your Google Photos on the web. The easiest way is:
- open a browser and go to Photos.Google.com signed in to your account (you should be seeing all your existing pictures)
- Click the Upload button and then find the first Dropbox folder with the photos
- Select all the pictures and click Open
- Repeat for the second folder
You can also drag and drop the dropbox folders onto a window with your Google Photos. This was the topic of Episode 138 of What does this button do? Read thru the show notes here, and watch the video for demonstration.
