Q: Just purchased a JVC Hd memory camera. It comes with JVC cd-rom program called Everio. Would I be better off using Movie Maker?

A: Since I don’t have that camera or software, I can’t answer specifically.  There may be some features of the software that came with your camera that you’ll need.  For example, I sometimes need to use the software that came with my camera to do video format conversion.  But, my bet is that your software will not have the capabilities such as adding transitions, adding scrolling titles, and uploading to youtube.  I tried using the software that came with my camera and found it sorely lacking in video editing features.  Also, the instructions were minimal … probably the best reason to use Movie Maker is that you have 9 tutorial videos right here on how to use it!  🙂
