Today we decide we are going to do a little homework from our TechnoGeek class. We take the dogs to the beach and shoot a 3 minute video of them playing in the water. We watch it in Picasa. It needs a lot of editing, which is good because that was the point of it all, but when we go to “my pictures” folder all that is there is the sound, no video. Ironically the video we took by mistake right after has both sound and video. What are we doing wrong?
the video that you can see … that was taken with the same camera? That’s unusual. But, isn’t everything with computers?!
You can see it using Picasa, but not with Windows huh? Have you tried bringing it into Movie Maker?
The thing with videos is that they need a video player, and there are SO many video formats these days. I would try checking that you have the latest version of Windows Media Player
If that doesn’t help, then we need to look at the format of the video file (what is the file extension?) and the make of the camera.
Let us know.
SOO glad you’re trying it!
