Hi all, I know you can make a screen save and edit etc. of the S & T map, but how do you eliminate all the little yellow boxes made when you set up your route so that you see just the route you completed and can keep a record of it in a blog or otherwise? I can’t figure out how to get rid of those little yellow boxes.
Thanks,
hmmmm …. I don’t know!
I can’t find any way to eliminate the route stop icons while still keeping the route line. If they were a pushpin set, you could change the icon for the pushpin set to a simple dot or something. But, as soon as you use those pushpins to draw a route line, they become yellow-boxed route stops!
You could use the drawing tools to draw your own line. Make sure the drawing tool toolbar is showing (View->Toolbars->Drawing) and choose the scribble tool to draw a line wherever you want. I guess I’d let S&T plan the route, then I’d use the route line and trace it with the scribble tool Then, you’d have to delete all your route stops. A bit of work, but it will give you what you want.
When we used to have S&T do our navigating, we would turn on the “Create GPS Trail” feature which created a line drawing of where we actually drove.
Anybody else have a suggestion?

Hi Chris, Thanks so much for your help. I do use the ‘Create GPS Trail’, but I also use for planning and sometimes I have to change the stops or route S & T uses, hence the yellow-boxed route stops!
I’ll try to save the map for previous year and use the drawing tools and then eliminate the route stops.
I have purchased 2013 so there may be more changes to deal with there. Thanks again for your help over the years, really appreciated.
