I have Streets and Trips 2011 with GPS device installed on my home computer. When I started to install the 2013 edition with GPS Locator it asked me if I wanted to delete the 2011 Edition. I have plenty of room on my hard drive. Should I delete the 2011 Ed.? Is there any benefit to keeping it? Will it interfere with the new GPS device? I also want to install it on a Netbook, which I use to navigate when on the road. It has has 49 of 80 GB free. Is your response the same for this computer.

The reason to keep both is just so you can test the new one before removing 2011.  So, I would keep it – then remove it later.  Your old data files won’t run natively on 2013, but it will automatically convert once you give approval.  When everything tests out, you can uninstall the 2011 version.

As for netbook – if you install it on your other computer first, and all is working fine, then I wouldn’t keep 2011 on the netbook at all.
