I think it was because of some problem co-coordinating them.
I kept getting reminders to update and then Apple forced me to update by making the battery discharge very rapidly, so rapidly I could not use the phones and Ipad without keeping them on chargers.
I called Apple Care and they told me they did not know of a problem between Apple and windows and that I should update to solve the battery discharge problem.
The update solved the battery discharge problem and I have not had any problems between i pads, i phones and windows.
Is there anything I should be aware of to avoid future problems.
I have 4,500+ albums and 79,000+ pictures in Google Photos.
Thank you very much.
You say you use “Windows” with your iPad. That can’t be right – Windows is an operating system for a computer, iPad’s operating system is iOS. I think you’re just referring to the fact that you view your Google Photos using a browser. The Google Photos app could possibly be affected by an update in the operating system.
In general you do need to do your updates. You don’t have to do them right away however – just like you did – it’s good to wait a while, maybe search for “ios 11.1.2 problems” and read anything that comes up.
Your pictures are safe in your Google Account in the cloud – I have never heard of any operating system issues that could affect that.
