I have two gmail accounts, and want to combine to one account where almost all my photos are collected.  What is the easiest way to move my 2nd account to the 1st account photos?  How do I keep the most used gmail address/account and delete the one i do not use?

Joanne,

There is a surprisingly painless way to combine photos from one Google account to another:

Using the Shared Library feature from the account with the photos (Account A) to the account where you want the photos (Account B) Then, in account B’s Shared library settings, click the option to “Save all photos to library”
Step by step:
  1. Log in to Account A
  2. Settings, Shared Library, Share with Account B, Grant access to entire library
  3. Log in to Account B
  4. Settings, Shared Library, Shared from Account A, Save to Library: All Photos

As for how to eliminate the Google account you no longer want, I would first check all settings everywhere and make sure that the unwanted account is not being used. I mean in Gmail, Google Photos, Blogger, Google calendar, Google Drive etc. and on any phones or tablets. If you are positive that the account is not being used anywhere, then you can delete the account by going to https://myaccount.google.com/ – logging in with the account you want to delete, use the Account preferences section, and delete account. Before deleting, this page also gives you a chance to see what is being stored in the account – look at Google Drive.

Hope that helps
