Yes, you certainly should be able to do the same thing on the android as what I demonstrated on the iPad. You do need to see the microphone on the keyboard … 2 ideas come to mind:
- Some keyboards don’t show the microphone icon until after you start to type. So – tap in the area to type and just enter a couple characters – see if the microphone icon appears maybe to the right of your typing
- Maybe you need a different keyboard installed … I use the Swype keyboard. Go to Settings, Language and Input, Keyboard – see if you have any other choices. You might want to review the button show #7 for more info on keyboards.
