I have a Pixel 3aXL I am having 2 lots of probs. first being when I scroll down the photos I can only bring up photos till October. Then second being when I go to albums I get a couple of odd ones they want me to see and I get into select an album. I have a samsung tablet and all good there.
Very fustrating when I want to show someone a photo, a bit embarassing as well.
Do you think it is a phone problem. I love the phone and will be sorry if that is so.

Something is wrong.
When you open Google Photos you should be on the “Photos” tab which is ALL your photos with the most recent on top and you can scroll down thru the years. On mine, I start with today and I can scroll back to my earliest photos in 1990.
If I want to look at albums, I tap on the Library tab and the albums are at the bottom. I have my choice as to how they are sorted – most recent on top, or alphabetical by album name.
