I know the both of you have their unlimited plan and I just wanted your take on the additional fee they are going to charge ($20) for having the unlimited data plan.  I called and talked to them and just like any business decision, they are going where the money is, now they give you unlimited talk & text because everyone uses data so now they want to charge as much as they can.  I have been with them before they were Verizon and I have been grandfathered in with my price for the unlimited data.  But now, there is the additional fee to have it.  What is the comments from others who also have this plan.  Have you received your notice about the additional fee?

I understand the reasons behind the price increase and we will continue to keep our unlimited data plan (UDP) for as long as we can.

It is a good deal for us. We consume a lot of data with our business and travel. Our needs are very different than someone who doesn’t travel as much or has other considerations.

Everyone needs to assess their own usage to determine if keeping the plan is for them. There are lots of plans available with different pricing and data limits. One size does not fit all.

We know people who use less than 2GB/month. They can save money by going to a different plan.
