I want to track my son on Google Maps. We both set it up and shared location so i can see his icon on the map app. BUT…..I have to scroll all around the entire map to locate him. There must be an easier way. How can I search for him so the map finds him instead of having to scroll all around the state to find his icon?
Hey Sue,
Yes – if you open Google Maps then click the account button (the circle with your face) you can scroll down to Location Sharing then you should see your son’s name in the list of everyone you’re sharing with. Tap on his name and the map should re-position itself so that his icon is showing.
Let me know if that works for you
