Can you go to calendar.google.com on a computer and see her calendar?
Has she given you permission? This has to be done on a computer:
- In the calendar list on the left side of the page, click the down-arrow button next to a calendar, then select Share this calendar.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to share your calendar with.
Let me know.

One thing to check .. are you both using the Google Calendar app? Not the Samsung calendar app for example. The Google Calendar app is a blue icon.
Let me know.
meanwhile, here is a google troubleshooting guide for Calendar syncing.

Have you tried eliminating the phones from the scenario – just for investigating?
You on your computer, go to Calendar.google.com, check the left sidebar in the calendar list and see that her calendar is there and it is checked
She on her computer, Calendar.google.com, check the left sidebar and see that your calendar is there and it is checked.
Each calendar should have its own color – appointments in the calendar itself will be in that color.
What do you see?

OK, so you see her calendar items on your calendar when viewing on the computer? And she sees yours both on computer and her phone. The only issue is on your phone.
I think I got the picture now.
I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Calendar app. If it’s all set up right on the computer, there shouldn’t be anything else you need to do on the phone other than using the Google Calendar app and be logged in with the same account. The syncing should take place automatically, but you can push it to sync immediately by tapping the 3-dot menu in the upper right and Refresh.

I’d really like to see your screen and see if we can get this figured out. I would like to do a Zoom meeting with you. All you would need is your computer and an Internet connection. You go to Zoom.us and I would give you a meeting number to join. If that’s OK with you, just give the word and I’ll send you a private email where we can share phone numbers to get the call started. No charge for this. Let me know.

Hey Chuck,
Still thinking about your calendar issue. Even though we didn’t solve your problem on our Zoom call, I found it helpful in understanding the issue. The more I think about it, the more I think that the problem is more on your wife’s side. I think she has two calendars – one account, but 2 calendars. See the image below of my Google Calendar screen (on a computer) I have a Chris Guld calendar, and a Chris2 calendar – they have different appointments on them. I can share either one. Check out your wife’s calendar screen and see if she has two calendars – one labeled with just her name and one with her email. Then, which one is being shared with you? Let me know.

Yep! Just keep asking “What does this button do?” So glad you got it working.
As for colors – you can change them on the computer version in the left sidebar, find the calendar whose color you want to change, click the 3-dot menu that appears to the right of the calendar name. You’ll see color choices there.

Yep, tried that. Supposed to be blue and yellow for two different people. So guess what. Mix blue and yellow and they come out green. So everything green. Go figure. These computers do what they want anyway.
Suggestion for program, Tell how to do all the sync’s available.
One again, thanks for all the help.
Chuck
