We really like using the Google navigation feature of our Samsung Galaxy 5 phone. Just dictate “navigate to nearest Walmart” and the step by step directions begin. It’s awesome. BUT…..how do we stop the lovely lady when we want her to quit navigating? Can’t seem to find a way to shut her off without completely shutting down the phone and rebooting. This is especially pertinent if you park a distance away from your final destination and plan to walk. The navigation lady just won’t quit. She’s very persistent.
She’ll interrupt you right in the middle of a conversation too. Very rude!
You can cancel navigation by tapping the X in the lower left. This video shows it: https://geeksontour.com/2014/02…..d-or-ipad/
