When downloading apps I am often asked to allow Push Notifications. I usually say no since I don’t really know what this request means. Any good reason I should allow Push Notifications?

Push notifications are when messages pop up in your phone’s (or tablet’s) notification bar. This is more ‘in your face’ and ¬†forces you to deal with the information. If you don’t allow push notifications, they you would need to visit the app to see what’s new.
