Good afternoon to you both, I have a google pixel, whilst I have seen that I have still unlimited photo storage I would to know is it possible for me to have the full editing ability with out having to pay for more storage that I do not need. It is frustrating to go to edit and to be directed to pay more to have the ability of using certain edit features, when I really dont need it, I know it is only $2 and of cause that is what I will have to do, but just wondering?
Also I know you are not phone people as such, but I do find complaints from others that they have trouble hearing me. Can you suggest anything, my microphone is working OK. Otherwise I will take it back to the place of purchase.
Regarding the above question, Just to say I am aware of snap seed. but google photos editing is so quick and easy for me.
Also thanks for your question and answer programs, its good to hear of others problems etc, I dash well slept in and missed your last one and I think that was one I could have joined into. I can’t believe it
Just saying I am in Tasmania Australia, and cross fingers we have been without Covid for over 12 months. Its that little stretch of water between us and the mainland that helps keep it away. I guess it may be inevitable, but we have been so lucky.
Cheers and keep safe
Glad to hear you’re staying healthy in Tasmania! Here is the link to the recording of Monday’s Google Photos Live Q&A.
As for your Pixel asking you to become a Google One subscriber – that’s not right. Pixels are supposed to get all the premium editing features just by virtue of being a pixel! It shouldn’t be asking you. What model Pixel do you have? Maybe it’s an older one? How about your Google Photos app, is it up to date? To check on that, open your play store and search for Google Photos to see if you have an “Update” button.
As for people having trouble hearing you on your phone … I always try a restart, you’d be surprised the problems that fixes. If that doesn’t help, then yes, I think you need to go back to the store, I can’t find any microphone settings for android that you can adjust.
I’m wondering if these two problems are related in some way – maybe the Android version? Have you updated the operating system lately?
