I have an IPhone 6s and got the My Data Manager App that you mentioned in your weekly show. I cannot find the setting for how much data each app uses. When I tap the lines at the top left corner the only choices I have are History, Map, Timer, And Data Compression. There is no choice of Apps. Could you tell me how to find in on my IPhone?
Sorry, I didn’t check whether it worked the same on the iPhone as the Android. I did a little research and found that, even though the iPhone version did have support for tracking individual apps, they had to remove it in order to comply with Apple App Store rules.
Here is a screenshot of the My Data Manager version history that documents this.
So, the only option I know of is to use your iPhone’s built in data tracker in Settings – Data Usage – scroll down to see all apps.
Here’s a video: 375. Apps Using Data
Another app, called Onavo, claims to give reports on what Apps are using your data. If you try it, let us know.
