Chris, Google photos on my iPad has not updated since May 4th. I have been taking pictures almost daily with my iPhone and all the pictures show up in Google Photos on my computer but not on my iPad. My Google Photos account setting on my iPad is the same as on my iPhone and computer. I must have something set wrong on my iPad but cannot figure out what.
Steve, there are two places where account is listed on Google Photos. One is in Settings, Backup and Sync. The other is immediately after pressing the 3-line menu – at the top of the screen. Is the correct person/account showing there?
If so, then the only other explanation I can offer is that your iPad has not been connected to a working Internet connection, or the app has gotten stuck in some way. Check your internet connection by trying to go to a web site. If that’s good, then try force-quitting Google Photos and restart it.
By “force quit” I mean to double press the home button, and swipe Google Photos off.
Let me know.
