I have the Samsung Galazy S III and am learning it slowly.  I have downloaded the manual but nowhere am I able to determine how to delete/remove addresses etc. from the “Google Nav” app.  Is it something I should not be concerned with? I tend to delete anything I’m not, or do not intend to use again as I suspect it is using up “storage” on the computer.

Has anyone done a comparison as to which of the  nav systems i.e. Google, Waze, or AAA are the easiest and/or most efficient?

I’m unclear as to how you saved the addresses in your Google Nav app.  If you saved to My Places, you can delete those named places.  I wonder if you’re just referring to the autocomplete list that comes up when you start searching?  Those aren’t actually saved places.  Temporary places are deleted by ‘Clearing’ the map.  You should find Clear Map on your menu.

I haven’t used Waze – it has advantages for being most up to date with user data.  I don’t think anything can beat Google Navigation!  We have several dedicated GPS devices, but I trust Google the most, and I can get what I need the quickest … Just talk to my phone and ask it to “Navigate to ….”
