Did you find them using a filing app? I have Files Go on my Android.
- When I open the filing app, I see the Downloads folder.
- Open the download folder to see the files.
- Find the one you want to delete and Long Press on it, you should see that it has been selected and all other files now have a circle to tap for selecting them as well.
- Then tap the trash can to delete.
Let me know if this helps.
ah – you should be able to delete directly from the storage setting. When you tap on device storage, I expect you saw folders and tapped on Download, then saw the files in question. You should be able to select from there – tap the 3-dot menu in upper right and Select. Now tap the files you want to delete – do you see them being selected? If so, you can now tap the trashcan in upper right.
Let me know.
I’m not seeing the 3 dots. Here is the full path I used: Settings, select Storage>Internal Storage, select Explore> goes to MyFiles> Device Storage, select Downloads. This displays a list or files but rather than seeing the 3 dots in the upper right I’m seeing “More”. Clicking on it gives a list of option which includes Edit but not Delete.
