I am running low on memory for my iPad. I have over 30,000 emails in my inbox. I tried to delete a mailbox I no longer need but I got a message that the server does not allow me to delete this mailbox. I don’t want to go through thousand of messages to send them to trash. Is there a way I can select all the messages beyond a certain date or from a certain sender and delete them summarly? Thanks
Since you’re on an iPad, I assume you’re talking about the mail app that came with the iPad … Apple Mail? I use Gmail and could give more detail there.
How about going into your main settings-> Mail, Contact, Calendars ->choose the account in question->turn off Mail
Give that a shot. It should remove all email to that address from your device.
