I apologize if I’ve overlooked this topic in past discussions. I have an iPhone. I have a gmail account, however I do not use gmail.com for mail. I use my local ISP(cvctx.com) for email. My phone is set up with what they call gmail exchange. My question is: When I delete mail on my iPhone, how or what do I need to do to delete it from my desktop PC? I hope there is a simple fix. Thanks in advance.
The easiest way I know of is to use the Gmail.com inbox. You don’t need to give people your @gmail.com address, Gmail can ‘fetch’ your @cvctx.com email, but using the Gmail universal inbox on all your devices automatically keeps them in sync.
See episode 5 of our weekly show “What Does This Button Do?” it was all about synchronizing email.
Also, here’s an article I wrote a while back: Use Gmail for one In-Box
Otherwise, you’d need to ask the folks at cvctx.com how to make their system synchronize.
