I have an HTC one that is less than two years old and I can hardly take any photo’s with it any longer, they are always blurry. It seems I can take an up close picture but after that, its terrible. My cousin has the same phone which we bought at the same time and her’s works fine. I’ve compared all our settings and still nothing works. So my question is this, is this something that can be fixed or should I not waste my time. I take a lot of photo’s (or I should say I use to) but now I am so frustrated not sure what to do. And since Verizon has changed their plans, now I’d have to buy a new phone. Any comments or suggestions. Thanks.
A while back, for a few days, the pictures taken by my phone were blurry and horrible. I was quite distressed until it occurred to me to clean the lens!! My pictures cleared right up.
I mention that just in case …
If a dirty lens is not the problem, then I’m not sure. Do you possibly have some filters applied? Check all settings and make sure that nothing unusual is checked. Have you applied all available updates? Maybe a Factory reset is in order (fyi: that is the topic of our next Sunday show “What Does This Button Do?”)
The HTC One is supposed to have a pretty great camera, maybe take it into a store and have them take a look?
Let us know if any of this helps.
