Hello,

I have a question regarding the playback of your videos. For some reason the videos play in extreme close up. The audio is ok, but it’s impossible to watch. I have tried to change the various settings while the video is playing, but nothing helps. To the best of my knowledge I have not changed any settings to make it do this. Some other videos (not all) do the same thing, but I am more concerned with yours. Any idea what is going on? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Tom

I haven’t seen this myself and I’m not sure if this is your issue, or something else. It sounds like a YouTube update messed with your settings. They continually tweak their player, not always making it better for everyone.

Change video player size

When using YouTube on your computer, the size of your video player will automatically adapt based on the available space in your browser window.

If you want to manually change the size of your video player, simply adjust the size of your browser. Alternatively, you can select the Theater mode   button in the bottom corner of the video player to view your video in a large player without going into full screen, or the Miniplayer button  to view in a smaller player.

Other suggestions would be trying a different browser. Common ones are Safari (Apples), Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Edge.
