I got the V4K Ultra Camera that you talked about on Friday and am having trouble with the resolution when trying to capture my phone. The resolution is not good. I read in the instructions where you can built a shield that will help cut down on the  glare. I was just wondering how you are get the sharp, clear picture that you are getting. I have downloaded the software  that was recommended and also tried to set it up using Zoom and have readjusted my lighting and nothing seems to work.

I’m unsure why your resolution is not good. I have not messed with any default settings.

We actually have two document cameras from Ipevo. Our webcasts use an older Ziggy HD connected to my Mac Mini. Chris uses the newer V4K on a Windows 10 Surface Book. That’s what we take on the road.

Have you cleaned the lens?

Chris uses the Visualizer software more than I but there are times when it is convenient when presenting to a live audience. The camera is recognized by OBS directly for my recordings and streaming. Those settings are default as well.

Maybe we can do a Zoom meeting to let me see what you have.

Thanks for your response. I continued playing around with the lighting and found that was the problem. You should see the arrangement I have set up for that now. My thoughts in getting this was to offer Zoom sessions on Google Photos to our folks in Greensboro Shepherd Center. They have what they call Adventures in Learning and have six weeks of sessions on different topics. I thought I might volunteer to do three sessions on how to use Google Photos on Computer, Android Phone and iPhone. I am still in the thinking of doing it mode. I sure wish Google would make the editing feature the same in both phones. Maybe by the time I get around to doing it, the will have.

Thanks again for your help and offer. As has been mentioned many times by different folks on your Zoom sessions, you two are the BEST!

I’m glad your camera is working well for you now. Yes, lighting is important.

I couldn’t agree more that I’d like to see photo editing tools for Google Photos iOS and web be the same as Android. I believe that is their goal, but I’m not holding my breath!
