Chris..I have a new hard drive. I have tried to download Picasa 3 from the web site. Some (very litle) got there. I have not suceeded.
Now what? I want Picasa for editing only. It has not seen all of my albums. I am not certain if Google photos is instaled. Thinknot. Also this page will not let me backspace to correct typing at times. Can’t make spelling corrections. Win 10 using.
Where is help? I hope I can get back to this page for your answer.
The Picasa3 installation file is here for Geeks on Tour members. You should also have it on your Geeks’ thumb drive. But, I’ll make it easy and send you the file attached to an email..
We just passed thru Nashville! Stopped to see the Parthenon!

It has been 2 weeks since I wrote about the Picasa download. I did get the link from your site and it did download. But…not completely. It has been so long that I barely recall what happened. I do have it on your thumb drive.
What makes my photos load to Google photos? Maybe you should give me that web page again. Hopefully I will have time to follow it. Picasa did not see my albums. Want Picasa for the editing tools.
You were seeing the Parthenon while we were into day two traveling to Franklin from York, PA and GEAR. It was a good rally and a very nice Maestro Group. Six You Tube at the end of this blog entry: https://frustratedmaestros.blo…..pot.com/
We are in Franklin until the day before Thanksgiving. After a stop to see our son in southern middle TN we will head toward Leesburg. Our park has been sold and we have heard has a new name—Holiday RV Village. It has been Holiday Travel Resort way over 40 years. Very sorry that the history is being wiped out. Think they want new younger folks.
More later..two weeks! Roxie
Good to hear from you.
Yes, you really should be using Google Photos directly now. Even if you get Picasa successfully installed, it no longer has the ability to upload – all connections between Picasa and the world outside of you computer has been disabled. Here’s a learning guide with several videos to watch:
If you’re taking photos with your phone, all you need to do is install the free Google Photos app and open it, turn it on. Voila! All photos/videos taken with that phone are now in Google Photos.
If you’re taking pictures with a camera, then copying them to your computer – then you need to get them uploaded from there. This can be done manually (my recommendation) or automatically. Here is the learning guide for that:
