Hi Geeks: I have been using a chromebook for over 2 years and recently got a Dell laptop with Windows 10 Home. Do any of your
videos provide tips that will make this change easier or does anyone know what pitfalls to avoid, etc. I primarily use computer
for email, shopping and light browsing of news & sports.
We have had to give up our camping lifestyle recently as age is catching up. We first ran into you at Blue Mountain CG in CO many
years ago. Enjoy your programs and any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Ron Moore
Gee – I’m wondering why you’re moving from chromebook to Windows if you use the computer for email, shopping, and light browsing. Seems to me the Chromebook is the better tool for that.
That said, making the switch shouldn’t be a problem – if you always have an Internet connection and you use the Chrome browser, you shouldn’t even notice that you’re on a windows machine! The difference comes when you leave the browser, you’ll need software to do other things – but not any of the things you mention. Let’s see … turning it on and off will be different and connection to wifi.
