Is it possible to have separate passwords for my Gmail & Google Photos?
Some say no, some say yes with add’l apps!
In this same vein, read where you can have multiple users, like the grans and friends, like on your PC, where they can borrow your phone without having access to your private apps.
If I understand you right, the answer is no. You can’t have different passwords for one Google account. Both Gmail and Google Photos are part of one Google account. You can have multiple Google accounts, but that gets real messy real quick.
As for giving you phone to your grandkids to use, there are ways to give them access to only one app by opening that app and locking it before handing it to them. I forget how to do that at the moment. If that’s what you want let me know and I’ll figure it out!
My Samsung tablet has a setting for “users” that’s great. You can just log the device in with your grandkid’s accout, or make a guest account – then there will be no access to your stuff. Phones don’t seem to have the Users setting.
