Chris, I am trying to set up a label to send out information by gmail for Gary’s Celebration of Life, I have about 100 people in the label, but when I use the label as the TO: mail the label doesn’t let me use it as the ones to send to. I have checked and all of the persons on the list have email addresses.
Appreciate your help

Well, this afternoon I started up my laptop and added 48 people to my group, then opened a new message and was able to bring them up on the TO line with their email addresses by typing in the group name.
What happened, either contacts were asleep last night, or I had some cache items on my computer. I would say that it could be because i was tired, but I don’t know how Google knew that last night.
I created a PowerPoint video highlighting some of our family life, but I will be showing that at Gary’s celebration. My granddaughter and her husband are preparing to stream it to people who are not going to be able to attend. I hadn’t made a PowerPoint in years and had to rely on YouTube lessons to finally get the PowerPoint right.
Thanks for you time and quick responses.

Just got a response from the Google Community and thought it might interest you.
Hi LuVerne, there are two separate issues here. To answer your first question, yes and no. Around 100 names in a group is right on the borderline of what Gmail can handle in an address field. The limit is based on the amount of text that is generated – if the names and email addresses are short, you can include more names, but if they are longer, fewer will fit. I usually limit groups to around 70 to be safe.
