Hello every one with mother nature running “Earl” up the eastern seaboard I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself to the forum.
I was introduced to Geeks On Tour by on of our Good Sam Chapter members about a year ago probally the best info any one could have share with me knowing I love to spend time on the computer. Chris and Jim do a great job showing me what I do not know about computers.
During the year I was able to get Jim & Chris to present their program from the comfort of their RV in PA to a group of us @ the Mass Good Sam Samboree in Greenfield MA working with Jim we set up “Skype” and linked Jim and Chris to our “Picnic Table User Group” we had a great time with the first (to my knowledge) gabbing with the Geeks.
We were also able to log on and view the web cast from the FMCA rally yes Jim we were part of the 400 + you had on line.
Keep up the good work we look forward to many more great learning opertunitys with “GOT”

Hey Bob,
Good to see you here!
So, you mean your picnic table user group watched the FMCA Picasa webcast as a group? If so, what a great idea! And, how did it look? Some people told me the screen was quite small.
Yes, you were the inspiration for our first 'Gabbing with the Geeks'! And, we think it is such a great idea to be able to get in front of groups remotely using skype … I don't know how we can show the computer screen that way though, and we need that in order to actually present our seminars.
Any ideas?

Yes Chris seven of us gathered around the picnic table the side wall of the RV becomes the projecter screen, we were only able to view using Google browser and yes the display window was small but your smiling face fits all display formats well. Over all the presentation viewed well.
Yes we will have to refine the process good subject for the teachers forum or we can log on brain storm over a glass of wine during your off season.
