All my children have moved too far away to be useful as techie 'experts'. I recently bought a motorcycle, not a RV, and a GPS unit (Garmin Zumo 665) to create / follow self-guided 'routes'. On advice of a friend, I also bought M/S Streets & Trips. While looking for some kind of tutorial for S&T, I stumbled upon Geeks on Tour. A little research on this site clearly led to the conclusion that I should join, if nothing else, to simply educate myself on using tools common to the lifestyle of nomadic wandering. I have a Crackberry, desktop PC and laptop PC with Version wireless modem. I live in CT, still work and love to explore just over the other side of the hill.
