I would like to download Google Plus and use for my photos. Does the profile need to be completed. For the time being I want to keep my photos private. Also , is there any direction about downloading this app on my iPad and setting it up to organize my photos.

Google+ does require a profile to be filled out, but it doesn’t need to be complete. The requirements are name, birthdate, and gender. You are encouraged to enter your cell phone number and an existing email address.
