I created two jpeg maps and saved them in “My Pictures/Maps” a new folder I created as I saved.  I opened Picasa 3.8 and it found the pictures and added them to picasa.  The folder clearly shows in Tools>folder manager (or is that folder manglerConfused).  If I click on a map in that folder in windows explorer it opens picasa and displays the image.

The folder “my pictures/maps” does not show in the folder view of picasa.  I have opened and closed the program several times.  I have sorted by everything I can sort by.  I have changed to flat view and back to tree view.  I am on the verge of destructive behavior Cool

hmmmmm

Have you tried searching for 'maps'?  or whatever the filenames are of the individual maps?

How big are they?  One thing that often stumps people is Picasa's inclination to not display small images.  You need to click on

View then Small Pictures.  You should now see a checkbox next to Small Pictures and, if that was the problem, they will now show up.

Let us know.

That did it!  Another lesson learned.

Thank you.

I'm glad you found them!  But,  I wonder if you intended for them to be that small?  Picasa's policy to not show small pictures is meant to prevent icons from showing up as pictures.

Yes, they need to be small since I am using them for my signature on rv.net/forums and there is a size limit.  I will use picasa to assemble them into a single image.
