I want to purchase a picture program for my computer that I can email photos from. I considered Creative Memories, but they are not in business. I purchased your Book on using Google Photos and am not able to understand the process. Thank you.
I think you’d be best using the built in app that comes with Windows 10 – Microsoft Photos. But first – tell me how you take your photos and how you get them to your computer.
In response to your questions Mrs. Geek: Question 1….I take pictures with my Consumer Cellular Doro phone, it is not a smartphone. I also take photos with my Stylus 850 SW Olympus, 8.0 camera. Question 2….I download both onto my Compaq desktop Windows 10. Question 3….I use Google Chrome. I look forward to your reply and thank you very much. Billie
OK, that sounds pretty clear to me that the Microsoft Photos is the way to go for you. You pictures should already be showing up there when you import them from your cameras. If you click on the Windows icon in the lower left, do you see a tile called Photos? If so click on it and you should be seeing your photos. If not, then you need to adjust the Settings and Sources so it is looking at the folders where your photos are stored.
I haven’t made a series of videos on Microsoft photos yet, but I do have a couple:
- 532.WM-Auto Create a Movie with Win10 Photos
- 531.WM-Trimming Video (beginning, end, middle) using Windows 10 Photos
Those 2 are about the movie making capabilities, but the should give you some idea about using the program. Let me know what you think.
