Hey Chris – I’ve decided to use my desktop pc as the 2nd place my Google Photos live….i.e. I want them to come back down to my pc. What do I do in Google Drive backup to do this?

Sorry Jon, That’s not an option with Google Drive.
Before they split Google Drive from Google Photos back in summer of 2019, there was an option for all google Photos to appear in Google Drive – then you could sync Google Drive down to your computer if you wanted. But now, Google Photos is completely separate. There is no automatic way to get your photos to Google Drive, and there is no way to sync from Google Photos down to your computer.

That’s how I get photos to my computer from Google Photos.
