Uploading Pictures From Picasa on Desktop To Camera

My husband recently bought me a digital picture frame for an early Christmas present.  How nice!   He then attached the camera to the device, and it began showing the pictures.  Unfortunately, these are not the best pictures.  The BEST pictures are housed onmy desktop computer using one of the most amazing programs ever invented: Picasa!   I'd like to pick out some great pictures from the desktop and upload those onto the camera, then plug the camera into the digital picture frame so it can show some good pix.

Question: How do I transfer photos from my desktop to the camera?  When I plug the camera into the computer, it does NOT show up as a drive letter……

That a nice early present! If you look a little closer your digital frame should also use an SD card which saves you the trouble of tying up the camera. The SD card can be plugged into the computer and loaded from Picasa then plugged into the frame.

Most frames work as a stand alone device.

When the camera is plugged into the computer and turned on you should get a pop up which allows you to see the camera is connected if you have down loaded from the camera with picasa you known the connection works.

After you see the pop up click on my computer and you should see the camera as a storage device.

select the photos you want to export to the camera (or SD card) and export them to the camera or the SD card.

I know Geeks have a good video on exporting photos from Picasa but the title escapes me at this moment.

Good luck and enjoy the digital frame

There's a video 'Using a Photo Frame' and it's #51 on the Picasa Series.

I LOVE my photo frame!!

This was so helpful!   Actually, I could never find a drive letter, so I ended up saving it on a flash drive (I believe this is called a memory stick).  Thank you so very much!   Cool
