Chris….my picasa is still saying that it is updating, all day…every time I go to it. It also will not let me upload to Google+ inorder to put pictures into the Maestro Blog of Glamarama. I have approximately 90 pictures to use in this blog. Smartphone sent.
I see no choice now but to uninstall Picasa and have found the steps to do that…using Add/Remove and to retain the edits select NO…so the edits stay.
But…I do not know where to find Picasa to reinstall it? I won’t uninstall until I know how to reinstall.
I see that you are teaching in Goshen today…Picasa! Roxie

Am loged into google.com
See above topics. In control panel…did delete Picasa 3. Picasa had advissed first to also check Computer>C>program files> right click on Picasa 3 folder,>delete>yes. I did not need to folllow these steps as Picasa was not in the program files after deleting picasa.
Reloaded Picasa 3.
Using Picasa 3, upload, view online and cannot copy url of pic…which looks very different,
Have gotten about 5 pics to Google + web albums but do not know how. If the picture is in Google + web album I can copy the url and insert it in a blog.
This all started becausse Picasa would not stop giving me a message for over a day that it was updating each time I went to Picasa. Decided to uninstall. But using the process to view online…only gives me a larger picture and the url cannot be copied.
Do you have a service to take over this machine? Would pay anything right now. Have about 90 pics from Glama to get into that blog.
Roxie Nothing is fun right now! Hope Glama and Fleetwood were both good.
Might you be using your AOL browser? It’s best to use chrome for Google+ and Blogger. And, you don’t have to copy URL – if the pictures are stored using the same Google Account as you use for blogger, then just click on the “INsert Image” tool and choose Picasa Web Albums (the exact same thing as Google+ PHotos) you should see your albums show up on the list and you can just select the picture to use in the blog.
I would like to take a look at your Picasa issue though. Today should be a good day. I’ll give you a call.

Many thanks for your help. Loved knowing you could coach by viewing my screen. Really helped. Here are the steps I have used to create the Glama blog. When I kept failing to get pics or collages into the 2014 Glama album…I got up and washed dishes and vacc’ed the floor. Helped!! Roxie feeling ‘more better now!!’ If I can add the math problem you will get this!

Update blog
Good Job Roxie!
The only thing I would change about your instructions is to divide it up. I see these as two very distinct processes: 1. Picasa: Create a collage and upload to the appropriate web album and then 2. Blogger: Insert Image and use the collage from the web album
