I’m sure you have answered this question somewhere. I am in the process of taking all my slides and scanning them onto a SD card. That was easy. I think I then downloaded the pics onto my computer but they are not in google photos. Can I upload them directly from SD card into google photos. And thanks for all your help. I’m finally getting around to my bucket list of going through 1978 slides.
Phyllis, First, congrats on getting around to your bucket list!
As for uploading photos from computer – either your hard drive or an inserted SD card – you have 2 choices: manual or automatic.
I recommend the manual method unless you have thousands of photos to upload. Here’s a video (your SD card should show up just like an external hard drive):
