Hi,

I'm  confused about  the difference between Tags or Captions.

What is the difference ? Do they serve different purposes? Can I use both? do I need to decide which to use?

Thanks

Tags are usually one word identifiers and they are not seen with the picture … you have to show tags to see what is attached to the picture.  They are used more for grouping and searching.  See this article: http://picasatutorials.com/201…..with-tags/

Captions show right with the picture and can be full sentences.  They also show with slide shows.

Yes!  Absolutely you can use both tags and captions.  Personally – I always caption my pictures.  I use tags occasionally for specific organizational purposes.
