Recently selected a number of photos from google photos and clicked the share button by email to send these pictures to a friend. The pictures didn’t go. Then I realized the emails were sitting I sent in my mail folder(iPad). The gmail app I use for gmail did not show the pictures sent. In fact I didn’t see anything there. So when I clicked on the unsent emails in the mail folder, the pictures were sent. Why don’t the pictures send in my regular gmail app?
also my brother attempted to send me pictures from google photos to my email and they didn’t come through. He is using a regular computer, not Apple. Is there some way to set up google photos so that you can send photos on your regular email or gmail app.
Diane,
I don’t know what happened, but photos should be sent just fine using Google Photos and gmail. Please watch this video and see if you did anything different from what I show. Watch it all the way thru to see one difference on iPhone. The whole video is only 2.5 minutes: Sending Google Photos email
