Hi Mr. G

Thanks for your response to my problem.   Sorry if I am not following the correct thread. (I’m not sure how to do it)  You responded to my request about #154 re captions.

I am digitizing old photo albums using the Photomyne app. Will take you through the steps I am using for this next Album called Tortosa: (I usually complete the album before I send it to my device but this time I’ll only do 1 page for this message)   1. Take the photo of album page using the app 2. Title the album, cite location and date. 3. Send album to device (iPhone) using down arrow. 4. Click Save 3 photos. 5. Click Save to this device.  6. Search on GP on iPhone starting with year entered on Photomyne title page (1985) – can’t find.  So randomly scan Photos an Albums on iPhone – cant’ find. 7. Search GP on iPad – can’t find.  8.  Search GP on dt computer – can’t find Tortosa album.  Also tried searching all 3 devices using album title name Tortosa. By the way,  I have saved 8 albums with up to 58 photos each using this method.  It just sometimes a while for them to show up on GP.  The first few went right away.  So uploading photos from Photomyne to GP is my first problem – sort of – as they seem to eventually wind up in GP.

My second problem is putting captions on the photo in Google Photos.  I don’t want them underneath as text but on the photo like Picasa does.  I thought Google finally made that happen.  Am I wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Lou
