Hi
After watching your tutorials on Sharing Albums, I’m currently setting up new albums but am struggling with the “workflow” – I add some photos and then insert text descriptions or explanations or just general information and the go back to insert new photos. I choose the photos and then “Done” but the photos are then inserted at totally random places in the album – if the album is long, 3 or 4 photos can be spread all over the place and I have to find them and drag them to where I want them to be.
My question is simple – is there a way of indicating where I want the photos inserting? It’s certainly not a simple as just putting the cursor where I want them.
As ever, thanks for your help
Geoff Turner
Hey Geoff,
Sorry, but there is no “insert new photo -here- in the album.
They are sorted by date – or manual sort.
There is a way to manipulate the ‘by date’. If you open an album, then click the 3-dot menu in upper right and Edit album – you will see some icons in upper right – the last one is two way arrows, signifying sort order. There are 4 choices: Oldest First, Newest First, Recently Added, Custom.
It’s the recently added that might help you – it would put all the photos you just selected at the top and then you can drag them where you want. HOWEVER – if that album already had photos in custom locations, this would mess that up. So, it may not be that helpful.
