I belong to a forum Redwood owners forum and would like to upload pictures but as with a lot of forums you can’t upload pics but rather you upload a link to the pic on a picture hosting site.  Anyway to do this with Picasa?  Tried to search for this here but of course putting in the word picture in the search brings up mega results.

Great Question!  I’ve added it to my list of videos to make!

Meanwhile, yes, I would use Picasa to upload the desired picture to Picasa Web Albums (aka Google+ Photos)  Then, while viewing the picture in your Web Album, you can get its URL and copy it for pasting in your forum post.  To get the URL, it depends on your browser – with IE you right click and choose Properties, then copy the URL (Address) property, with Chrome, you right-click and ‘Copy Image URL’

I did write a Picasa article a while back that touched on this … http://picasageeks.com/2010/09…..-question/

Hope that helps.
