Pleeeeeze help! I downloaded the upgrade (3 times) and now I can’t get Picasa to open – at all! I have tried several different methods of opening the program, but no luck. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!Cry

I've never seen that … so I researched on the Picasa forum.

First question, are you launching Picasa from an icon on your desktop?  If so, try finding the Picasa program on your start menu instead.

If that doesn't help, I found this post that has some further suggestions.

Let us know.

Whew!  I finally got it!  I had to reinstall the two programs that were in the article and then reinstall Picasa.  Thank-you so much for your help – we have just gotten back from a year long journey around the country (38 states; Washington DC; and 4 Canadian Provinces) and I have over 12,000 pictures to take care of!  You can see our journey through the eyes of our Basset Hound by going to:  http://bessysadventures.blogspot.com if you are interested….Thanks for the information about blog spot too!  I think Bessy (the Basset Hound) did a pretty good job of keeping track of where we were!  THANK-YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR INFORMATION!  You and your videos are a LIFESAVER! I had the same problem.  Tried the first suggestion, but it didn't help.  Had to uninstall Picasa and reinstall and that did work.  Thank you for the help!
