Question is with Google Photos.
A couple of days ago, google photos APP on my LG V20 phone stopped saving any album I have created.
I have looked on the internet and tried the following:
1. Logging out of my Google Photos account>doing a hard reset of my phone>turning phone back on>and logging back into my Google Photos account.
2. I have created albums on my Chrome Browser>and all albums created on Chrome Browser have saved to my google photos account>HOWEVER, the album still doesn’t flow to or appear on the Google Photos App as an album.
3. Short of uninstalling the Google Photos App on my phone: What steps do I take to get the Google Photos App to save my created albums?
Thank you for any help you can give me.
Let me be sure I understand … you have albums in Google Photos that you can see when using the web version of Google Photos but not the Google Photos app on your phone. Is that right? Are you on Android? or iOS? Make sure to check for updates – iOS especially just got an update for Google Photos the other day.
I have never experience that, so I’m not sure. If you have a lot of albums, they can be hard to find because they get put in the list by date. Have you tried searching? If you have an album called “2018 birthdays” for example, just try searching for “birthday” and see what comes up – albums will show up in the autocomplete list with a special icon. Do you see your album in that list?
Uninstall and re-installing your Google Photos app is one of the first things I try. Don’t worry about the message that it deletes your data – that does not mean photos, it means settings.
