According to all of my settings, google photos uploads from my iPhone gallery and passes them on to One drive. So far so good, except I can never find them on One Drive. Where do they go? Are they supposed to have their own folder on One Drive? My OneDrive is divided up by a dozen folders from uploading from my computer’s hard drive, but if the new photos are coming in at all, they are not showing up anywhere. Can you help me?

When you set up OneDrive Camera Uploads on your phone, you’ll tell it your Microsoft account. The photos get uploaded to the cloud in your microsoft account. You can see them at OneDrive.com
On your computer, when you open your Windows 10 Photos app, you can tell it to view the photos that are stored in the cloud only by clicking on the 3-dot menu, Settings, Show my cloud-only content from OneDrive = ON
I love that – now I can open the PHotos app on my computer and view the photos I took with my phone today.
If you want the photos copied to your hard drive, you find that setting in the OneDrive app – the little cloud at the lower right of your screen in the “systray” Right-click on that, find a 3-dot menu, then settings. Choose folders to make available on PC. Scroll thru this list to find Pictures. I don’t have this on my PC because it’s over 100 GB!
I realize that I haven’t covered this in any of my material. Tell me if this works for you or where you have questions and I’ll work on a couple of videos for it.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I can’t follow the directions you gave because on my Windows 10 Google Photos there is no “settings, show my cloud-only content from One drive” 3 dot menu option. Nothing about the cloud at all. I know I’m in my Microsoft account also. See Attachment for settings view from 3 dot menu.
So I can’t even get started!
I have also checked on ‘OneDrive” settings in the camea settings and nothing about any clouds there either. I hope I have stated all this clearly, Chris. I’d like to clear this up.
I wasn’t talking about Google Photos settings – I was talking about Microsoft Photos settings. Here’s some visuals:
The easiest way to find the Microsoft Photos app is to use Search:
Once it is opened, you should see the 3-dots in upper right, click that and then Settings
And, here’s the setting to turn on in order to see the cloud copy of your OneDrive photos from your computer.
I think this is a great question, so we’ve decided to make it our beginner’s lesson for Episode 171 of our Button Show this Sunday. I hope you can join us live and ask further questions. But it will be there for replay any time.
