My One Drive is telling me I have used 90% of storage & need to go premium

Yes, OneDrive does not have the option of choosing High Quality and getting free unlimited storage – it’s only Google Photos that does that.
If you want to continue backing up photos to OneDrive, you have 2 choices:
- Pay for premium – I pay $70/year for Microsoft 365 and that also includes 1 Terrabyte of storage. That’s plenty for me.
- Set OneDrive to sync photos to your computer,then move the photos from the OneDrive folder to some other folder on your computer – this clears the storage space in OneDrive so you can stay under the 5GB free allotment
