I attended your seminar last February in Chandler AZ and immediately started using Google Photos. However I am currently using Microsoft Word to put together our annual Christmas Letter and cannot seem to get any photos onto various pages. I have queried your site and even looked at your Photos book with no luck. Help!

Looks simple but I couldn’t make it work. Note that my PC is a MacBook Pro with the Microsoft Office software and My telephone is an Android, Motorola Droid. When I go to the Google button on the Mac the Google Photos image comes up with some other frequently used sites but there are no photos. I then go to photos.google.com and there are all my photos that are on the Android. I right click and copy and then try to paste to word and get the message that Word was unable to read the document, it may be corrupt. I tried this several times with the same result.

I finally found the problem. It turns out that I had two gmail accounts and Google Chrome couldn’t figure out which one that I was using. I deleted the account that I was not using and was then able to copy a picture from Google Photos to Word. However Kris I had one difference from your video, I couldn’t just right click then copy but had to left click to identify the picture then I could right click and copy.

Good job in figuring it all out!
Yes, accounts are critical in working with google photos – or any personal content in Google. I say they’re like safe deposit boxes – each account (email address) is a different safe deposit box and you need to have the right key (username/password) to open the right box.
