Q: HELP!!
Follow up via email:
Thank you so much!! It worked like a charm, but I was so used to Picasa being so easy. Hope they can find the problem soon and get it fixed. But, as much as I am holding out to purchase a new computer, maybe it will have to happen soon just to keep up with the new stuff. Thanks again, you made my day!!
They did fix the problem in the latest update. Or, more accurately – they UNbroke it!
Here’s an article I wrote about it: http://picasatutorials.com/201…..a-updates/
Another, similar question (we sure would appreciate it if people would post their questions here rather than sending email)
Q: I did the update from 3.9 136.07 to 3.9 136.19. Now, try as I might, I cannot upload pictures from my camera into Picasa. I am using a Kodak easyshare 2712 IS with an easy share printer dock. Need your help to get things working again
Two things:
1. There is now a build 136.20 available – make sure to update again!
2. Try alternate ways of getting your pictures on your computer – just use Windows (or Finder if on Mac) to copy the pictures from the camera card, and paste them into My Pictures/new-folder/ When you open Picasa you should see the new pictures. If that works, then the problem is definitely with Picasa.
Let us know.
