Based on our discussion in the Zoom meeting yesterday – we think you have 2 accounts set up. One on computer and a different one on the phone.
2 questions:
- On the phone, can you take a photo and end up seeing it on your computer?
- On the phone, can you click the account button (circle, maybe with your face, in the upper right corner) then click the down arrow and see other accounts?
If so, choose the email address that matches what you found on the computer. Now you should see the albums on the phone.
If not, then tap the link to Add account and add the gmail address that you see in the computer version of google photos. You’ll need to know the email address and the password to do this. Once it is there, select it and you should now be seeing the same photos and albums as on the computer.

Thanks for your response.
I just took a picture with my phone (about an hour ago) and it shows in GP on the phone, but not on the computer.
When I click on the Account Button (on the phone) I do not see other accounts.
When I tap the link to Add Account and add the gmail address (and password) I see on my computer it tells me in red that that user name is taken and to try another one.
The address on my phone is <sturney222@gmail.com>/ The address on my computer (laptop) is <sturney468@gmail.com>.
Would it help if I gave you my password?
OK, we’re getting closer 🙂
When it told you “that username is taken” it sounds like you might have accidentally tapped on “create account” rather than just signing in.
We could jump on a quick Zoom call to figure this out if you’d like. The rest of today (4/25) is good, or anytime tomorrow (4/26). Just let me know if you want to, and a good time. I’ll send you a link via email then.
